I have the best Mother-in-law in the world. She has always been very supportive of my interests and hobbies. I think she may even be my number one fan. I mentioned that I was having trouble getting macro pictures and good depth of field pictures with my camera lens so she got me one for my birthday. My birthday isn't until November 30th but I'm happy to have my present early. I only got a little chance to use it yesterday but I love it!

Fantastic photos! The orchids with the narrow depth of field--with blurry backgrounds--look terrific. Nice job with the portraits, too--soft focus sepia looks nice.
