Dane's Wedding

Dane was married on July 28th. Laurel looked so beautiful. They both looked happy. It was a fun and busy weekend for everyone. I'm really sad my family is leaving already. I looked forward to them coming for months and now the time has already passed.

Mesa Falls

These are pictures of Mesa Falls. It was amazing. There was even a rainbow coming off the waterfall. The waterfall is a 200 Foot drop.

Camping

Yesterday Jeff and I went camping with our friends Rob and Lisa in Island Park. We heard about the spot from Jeff's friend. It was a great spot right next to the river and it also had an old abandoned cabin. There was also a porta potty which was nice. We made BBQ Chicken and potatoes for Dinner and Rob and Lisa made Centralia Thursday. Rob made it a lot of his mission. We also had smores of course. After we were done camping we went to Mesa Falls and took some gorgeous pictures. Our batteries in the camera died to We will post those pictures when Rob and Lisa send them to us. It was a wonderful weekend.

Oh...the blessings in my life!

Last night we got an AC unit for our apartment. It is really nice. It has already made a huge difference. Now I can use the oven a little bit more and we will probably make more friends because our apartment is cooler now!

Table Cloth

Last night I made a tablecloth. I got the fabric on sale at Joannes. It was really easy to make. I cut it to the size I wanted with my rotary cutter. I'm happy with how it turned out. I think it makes our table and kitchen look better. Maybe I will make some drapes for my next project.

Baby Coat

I finished my the coat I was making for my sewing class is finished. I choose the light blue color because I thought a boy or girl could wear it. I lined it with fleece to make it warmer. I have really enjoyed the class and I think I will make another coat, as long as it doesn't need a zipper.

Long time no Post

Sorry I have not posted any pictures in so long. Things have calmed down since school is almost over. We had our fourth of July party for the ward and it was a blast! Dane and Laurel came and my pie got third place out of eight. It was also the most eaten but then I found out that my brother Dane and Jeff ate most of it. The boys had fun playing football. They played a game where someone throws the ball in the air and the rest of them fight over it. The guy who catches it then gets to throw it. Guess who won? JEFF!!! I knew I picked a good one!

Decorating cup cakes

I made roses for my roommate's baby shower. Jeff did one and it turned out really nice. Later Laurel and Dane came over and helped to make some as well. It was a lot of fun. Maybe decorating cakes can me a hobby that Jeff and I can do together.
