It's a miracle

Our TV is alive and doing well. We are very happy about it. Jeff figured out that it was actually our DVD player that was causing the problem so we got a new DVD player. Hopefully it will last longer than our last one. It is a Sony so we are hopeful. Sorry for the mix up. You can now laugh at me.

Rest In Peace

I am very sad to announce the death of our TV. It has been a great tv. Yes, it is small and only has one speaker but it was more than just a tv for our family. Jeff and I watched movies on that tv in his parents basement when we were dating. When we were engaged we snuggled on the couch in front of that tv. When we got married Patty and Clint gave us that tv along with the tv stand. It was our first tv. It was a good tv. We only watched movies on it but Clint says that it is really easy to record tv shows on it. It made the journey from Oregon to Idaho and to Indiana where it now will be laid to rest. We will miss you, and I don't know when we will be able to replace you. Goodbye old friend.

Kenningtons come to Indiana

I haven't posted these pictures because there are a lot of them and I knew it would take me awhile. The Kenningtons arrived on the 10th. The first night we visited and everyone relaxed. It was so nice to see baby Carson again. He has gotten so big and he is so handsome. Austin loved having all the visitors. Sarah, Patty and I got to go shopping to my favorite store in the world, Joanns. We picked out the fabric for Austin's quilt that Patty is going to make. It is based off the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". We also took a trip to Sams Club and Target. Patty spoiled us with lots of things for our apartment and a train set for Austin. We went out to eat, watched a movie, ate fondue, golfed, sang and had a great time. In my opinion it was the best visit we've had with the Kenningtons. Patty and Clint were able to stay in the empty apartment next to ours and our apartment was just big enough that we weren't always on top of each other. I didn't cry when they left....until.....the next morning when Austin woke up and then looked in every room for his guests. He just kept going from room to room and then he would sit in the middle of the room and move on. I didn't think he would notice but I really think he did. He misses his Aunt Sarah, Uncle Conrad, Grandma Kennington, Grandpa Kennington and cousin Carson. We can't wait to see you again!

Happy Birthday Austin

Austin turned one on September 5th. He opened a present from the Christenson family and some cards from other family members. We had a party for him on the 10th when the Kenningtons flew in from Idaho. He was a little hesitant about his cake at first but then he dug right in. Jeff and I got him some books and a bucket of tools. What a cutie, I can't believe he is one already.

like Father like Son

I have been trying to get pictures of Jeff and Austin playing on their laptops. Austin loves computers. He especially likes to play on them while we are trying to work on the computer. We let Austin play with our old laptop because it doesn't work anyway.

Cake Decorating Class

I had so much fun teaching a cake decorating class at Hobby Lobby. I am already excited for my next class to start on September 24th. My students were so much fun. I hope I get to see them again, maybe in course number 2!
