Home Improvement Yakima Style

This weekend Conrad, Sarah, Athena and Jeff and I went to Yakima to Carrie and Jon build a room in their basement for Dallin. It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun. We stayed up late talking which was my favorite part and we got ice cream from a place down the street from them. Jeff and Conrad both got a banana split and it was huge! Dallin was funny to watch, he is a lot different now that he is older. His laugh sounds like a grown man, it's really funny.

Japanese Card

Well I think I found a new hobby. I really like to make these kinds of cards. I think I've already gotten better at it my second attempt. Happy Birthday Nick and Sydney!

A little tast of Japan

Casey, Katie, Clint and Patty spent some time in Japan this summer. They brought back a lot of really neat things along with fun stories. This is a wooden Japanese doll along with a card I made for my nieces birthday that is coming up. Patty got a couple books on how to make cards and other paper crafts, the only problem is, they all in Japanese and they are backwards also. This was my first attempt but I think I did alright.

More wedding pictures

Here are some more wedding pictures. I haven't posted any pictures of our stay in Oregon yet. I still haven't taken any pictures. Jeff and I just got back from Lagoon. It was a lot of fun. We met up with Josh and Megan and had a great day. We also go to see Jeff's sister Vanessa and her family and Jeff's mission companion. Bob Tucuafu. I think that is how you spell it. He grew up in Hawaii! I've started my quilt. I think it is coming along nicely. Jeff and I have been running two miles every other day. I always hate it while I'm doing it but later I feel good. The days we don't run we do Pilates together. When I make some progress on my quilt I'll take some pictures.
