Sunday Best

I don't really dress pants for Austin to wear to church so I do my best and try and put him in a onsie that looks more like a polo shirt. He is usually really good for us at church and I don't even really hold him the whole time because all my friends are more than willing to take turns passing him around.

Halloween Party

We went to our ward Halloween Party and we dressed Austin up as an Indian. My Mom made him his costume while she was here helping me after he was born. The moccasins were a little snug but luckily, everything still fit.

Big boy

The lighting in our room was pretty good the other day so I took advantage of it and tried different things with our camera. I'm happy that I have Austin to take pictures of instead of Jeff. He is more patient with me and no matter how bad the picture I take is, it still looks good to me because I think he is so cute.

baby baby baby

I haven't been as good about posting pictures because this week and next week are midterms. Austin is getting so big and he can lift his head now. He likes to lift his head off our chests when we are holding him and look at us. One night I was holding him and I was trying to kiss him and he kept leaning his head back because he was trying to look at me. I guess he didn't want a kiss from his Mom.

Sorry I haven't posted pictures in awhile. Here are some of Jeff and Austin. They aren't that great of pictures but it shows Jeff trying to make Austin smile. As you can see, he wasn't successful.

Photo Shoot

We took Austin to get his picture taken when he was 2 weeks old and we just got the prints back.

Short little man

Austin got weighed and measured yesterday. He is in th 50th percentile for weight and the 25thpercentile for length. I have to say that I'm not surprised since both Jeff and I aren't tall. Hopefully he will have a growth spurt.

Snuggle Bug

Austin loves to fall asleep on our chests so watching conference was a perfect time to get in some Daddy snuggle time. I love how Austin's blanket is covering Jeff but there is just a tiny corner on Austin. I of course gave him his blanket back after I took the picture.

bath time fun

Austin doesn't scream when we give him a bath but he makes funny faces. He can't fit into the little tub they gave us at the hospital for baths so I got a big sponge and put it in the sink so I don't have to bend over the tub. He really likes to have his head scrubbed. He always manages to pee in the water as soon as I get everything set up and ready.

4 Weeks old

Austin will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I can't believe how fast he is growing and how fast time has gone by. It feels like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital. Every night he gets better at sleeping in longer spurts. Jeff rigged his swing to plug into the wall so we wont have to keep buying batteries. When I feed him it feels like he is ordering me around because he grunts at me. What a cutie. I loved having my family here. Here are some more pictures from the visit.
