Trip to Kuna and Ontario

This weekend Jeff and I went to Ontario to spend time with Jeff's parents and Conrad and Sarah and Athena. We went paint balling on Saturday which was a lot of fun. I have some nice battle wounds but I did very well. I enjoyed using my paint ball gun that Jeff painted pink for me. We also went shopping and I found a dress for Dane's wedding. It is red. I will have to show pictures later when I feel like getting dressed up. We also went to see Pirates of the Carribean III. It was good but the plot was a little hard to follow. I picked out a quilt that I am going to make this summer. I also got a few good pictures of Jeff wearing one of Athena's pink blankets. He tried to take it off before I got too many. Jeff and Conrad also tried to fix the scooter but it was not fixable. I think they had fun working on it and taking it apart though. On the way home Jeff and I stopped and took some pictures of Craters of the Moon. It is 75 square miles of volcanic rock. You can even see the swirls made by the magma. It was pretty cool to stop and take some pictures.

Baby shirt and pants

I made a pair of pants and a shirt. I look a little weird in one of the pictures but I just want to show the pants.

I finished the afghan that I started during Thanksgiving. Vanessa got me the yarn for my birthday and I finally finished it. As you can see, Jeff has taking a liking to it already. He wore it around the apartment for a few hours, even while he was on the computer.

I killed my plant

I was so excited when Patty gave me a plant for our apartment. This is what it looks like now that I have had a chance to take care of it. I can't believe I killed it! Where did I go wrong. Look how pretty it used to be.

These are bibs I made in my sewing class. Jeff really liked them, he thought they were a good idea.

Jeff got a new toy for his birthday form Conrad and Sarah. He took a nice action shot of it in the air. It seems like we take a lot of our pictures near the book case with the plant on it.

Today I rode a horse for the first time. Jeff and i realized our battery was low so the camera kept shutting off but we got a few pictures. It was a lot of fun. My knee that I hurt last fall was hurting during the ride though. I rode a horse named Oreo and Jeff rode C. Biscuit. I didn't like the name of my horse and he didn't respond to it anyway so I called him Stanley. I would go again anytime! There were a few times Stanley would jump a bit because the dumb squirrelly girl behind me kept letting her horse bite mine in the butt, and when we went across the water Stanley stopped and was stomping and soaked my legs. It was hot though so I didn't mind getting wet.

I finished two sleepers and one more is on the way.

Cake decorating

Today after class I sewed two more pairs of booties and a pair of mittens. The mittens look really weird but the other two booties look nice. I went to a cake decorating activity with the FCS society. When they got started Dane and Laurel walked in. I was really suprised. Dane used blue icing and made a rose and everything. We learned how to make a clown out of icing and how to make stars and a rose. My first one was better than my second but when I turned around to show Dane and Laurel, it slid off my pin. Right before it slid off Dane said, "it would be funny if it fell off." It was a lot of fun and they have activities every week. I am going to try and get Jeff to come with me next time. It would be a fun free date. I think for my first time I did a good job with my rose. Maybe cake decorating is hereditary, my Mom and sister, Tiffany are really good.
