Ouch!

Yesterday while I was exercising Austin was running around the family room and he tripped and hit his head on the coffee table. I was shocked when I picked him up to find a lump the size of a golf ball on his forehead. I thought his head was going to start bleeding too but it never did. I don't think it broke all the way through the skin. He was pretty upset until I got the camera out to take a picture. He is doing just fine now. I called the on-call nurse at my dr's office and she said he probably didn't have a concussion since he didn't vomit. She just told me to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn't sleep too long. He didn't take a nap at all yesterday so it was a long day. We are just happy he is ok. I'm going to hold off on getting his 18 month pictures taken though.

Poor little buddy! But you are awesome for exercising! You always inspire me to do things that I want to even though I have kids.

well, brielle, expect him to be a constant collection of bruises, scrapes, and cuts from here on in! such is the life of a little boy. to tell the truth, i think little boys are cuter with bruises and bumps because that means they're enjoying life!

It's amazing how fast those goose eggs swell up, eh?!! I had no idea it is almost instant. I'm glad he's okay! BTW, I love those close ups of Austin on the "Beautiful Day" post.
