Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Flamingo Nursery on Saturday. It was a disappointment. I think the kids enjoyed themselves but it wasn't what we were hoping for.

This is the best picture of the boys together I could get.

This car was honking his horn and squirting water and flashing lights by itself.  It freaked Austin out a little.

They boys are both really excited for Halloween. They are still in love with their hedgehog costumes. They only take them off to eat and sleep.

Hedgehog Costumes

Here is a sneak peak at my craft blog post. I made Austin and Bennett's hedgehog costumes. I took a lot of picture but you have to go to my craft blog to see them. I want the traffic on my site :)

Kaitlin's Wedding

Along with our Temple trip, we were able to attend my friend Kaitlin's wedding. It was beautiful, she was stunning and I loved seeing my friends again. Austin loved playing with all the other kids. Bennett loved getting all the attention from the other guests. Bennett also loved the Jamaican drum musician. He was dancing and staring at him. It really was just lovely. I wanted to take more pictures but I didn't want to get in the way of the photographers. I just wish we could have stayed longer but we had to drive back to Davie that same night. I already miss my friends and I can't wait to see Kaitlin again.

Orlando Temple

This weekend we drove four hours to go to the Orlando Temple. The whole trip was wonderful. The boys were great and Austin was thrilled to see the temple. He was a little sad he didn't get to go inside but Jeff and I used it as a teaching moment. On Friday I attended a session while Jeff watched the boys at the hotel and then the next morning Jeff went to a session. Then we brought the boys to the temple after we checked out of the hotel. We also went to the distribution center to get a few things. Austin had been requesting small scriptures.

I have a plan for this picture. I'll be posting it on my craft blog once it is finished.

We asked someone to take our picture. Not my best picture ever but at least I'm in it.

This is the best picture I could get of all three of them. I love my boys but between the three of them it is next to impossible to get them all to smile and look at the camera in a picture.

Austin wanted to knock to see if anyone would answer. Of course Bennett had to do it too since his big brother did it.

I like this picture because it helps show how big the Orlando Temple is.

The trip was really great. It felt so nice to be in the temple again. It had been too long. Now I'm even more excited for the Temple to be built 5 miles from our home.

Beach Day

I took the boys to the beach yesterday. We had a great time. I can't believe how hot it is here still.

Bennett was a little clingy while we were there. He doesn't like sand.

Austin was fearless, which scares me to death. He was giving the lifeguard and all the people around us a heart attack. He would just run into the water and keep going and then the waves would knock him over. They didn't know he could swim at first.

Austin also liked to climb the bank. The whole beach was like this. When I first go there with both kids and all my gear I just stood at the edge and stared it it. Then some very nice people helped us get down.

I love his little teeth! Once we dug a spot out of the sand near the water and let it fill up Bennett was happy playing in it.

This is Austin's smile I guess. Charming isn't he?

When we came home from the beach we had five birds on our fence.

I don't know if you can tell but the bird in this picture is really big. He was probably taller than Bennett.

As you can see, I've been playing around with my new camera lens a lot too.
